Me and my partner have decided that we would like to create a horror trailer. This is our idea for the synopsis:

"Sex, parties and drugs is all it took for one girl’s soul to be shredded in the depth of the canal. But will she ever seek revenge; after all they say it’s an eye for an eye, but who knows."

We also explored further into it and thought about questions that we would want to be raised in this trailer. These include:

- Who is this girl?

- Why does she seem demented after?

- Is she innocent?

- Why did she get murdered?

- What happens at the end?

I decided to think about the generic and technical of my genre and how they are used in both the films and in teaser trailers.

My partner and I brainstormed a few ideas for the name of our film, and our favourite two were Haunted and Demented. We were undecided between both so I decided to ask 10 boys which they would prefer, and my partner asked 10 girls. The 20 girls and boys we asked were from the age group 15-24, and we asked both boys and girls as our film is unisex. We had feedback about the names, and some people found that the name Haunted was a bit dull and vague, whereas the name Demented sounded more interesting and chilling. Most of the boys asked had also agreed that Demented was a better name. This survey helped us decide on our name which we agreed to in the end; Demented.
