We have made a moodboard for "Demented" however as we have changed the whole storyline, we have decided to make a new moodboard for the new teaser trailer called "Haunted".
This moodboard includes related images to our storyline. Firstly, the picture of the canal relates to the character in the trailer as she finds and picks up one of the main props; the cross, on the canal. The picture after this includes a cross and this is very relevant as the prop picked up by the main character is a cross of which we will emphasise in the trailer so that our audience understand that this is a main part of the film. The picture after the cross is of a mask and this related to the film because the girl being 'Haunted', (relation to the film title), is haunted by a masked character. We have decided to include a masked character in our trailer as this adds more suspense towards the audience as they would want to find out who this masked character is, and why she/he is haunting the girl. This then relates back to the cross as all the haunting would appear in the trailer after the main character picks up this cross. The next picture is of a teenage girl with mascara running down her face emphasising the fact that there will be a teenage girl in the trailer of which may face something that would lead her to become emotional. The picture after this is of a man holding a knife on the staircase. This relates a lot to our teaser as we have decided to include the masked character haunting the girl in many different areas such as the canal, a staircase, a garage, and so on. Also, the knife is one of the main props in which the masked character holds. As well as this, the knife may be included in my poster as I would like to have a picture of a main prop. The picture after this includes a knife with blood therefore relating to the teaser as there may be some bloody scenes. In this mood board, we have included horror music in the background to add more emphasis and effect to it in order to appeal to the audience.
